The Position

The Marketing Manager will develop and execute marketing plans and strategies that result in sales growth, increased market penetration and enhanced brand awareness, and will be responsible for managing all internal and external communications for the company ensuring messages are consistent and lead the production of commercial events. Always aiming to grow and maintain a strong brand awareness, you will work collaboratively with a driven and passionate team to ensure this happens. The Marketing Manager will lead a small marketing team that will be growing.


As a snapshot, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 5 years of experience developing and deploying strategic digital marketing initiatives and campaigns with success
  • Possesses incredibly strong communication skills that have helped propel marketing communications strategies
  • Has the proven ability to show creativity as a means of developing solutions to problems

Position

Main Duties:

  • Develop and implement communications plans to increase brand awareness and recognition for the organisation
  • Support the development and implementation of an integrated communications strategy for the company (including public, media, investor and government relations etc.) to achieve brand objectives and ensure coordinated and consistent messaging
  • Effectively manage projects related to marketing communications and specifically; creative briefs, proofing, editing, and distribution
  • Develop and communicate metrics to assess success of marketing initiatives, promotional activities and campaigns
  • Develop and lead the company‚Äôs internal communication strategy and communicating brand to customers and stakeholders
  • Develop and implement strategic digital marketing strategies and campaigns including the refinement of our social media strategy
  • Support all company departments to support their marketing initiatives, ensuring uniform, effective marketing messaging
  • Write press releases for local and national media
  • Monitor stories relating to the company and its brand and optimize PR opportunities
  • Help plan and execute regional and customer specific events
  • Effectively coordinate and communicate with vendors, agencies, partners and suppliers
  • Manage and execute events related to professional conferences and tradeshows, and other corporate events
  • Support and promote company brand presence on site at events, acting as an ambassador, participating in lead gathering and gather ideas for how company exposure at events can improve
  • Manage budgets with a strong emphasis on demonstrating ROI and process improvements

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing with exposure to tracking and demonstrating ROI and/or Marketing Attribution
  • Experience with digital campaign development, planning, execution and tracking
  • Experience with social media advertising and content marketing
  • Experience with Adobe Suite, Pardot (or similar marketing automation software), Salesforce, WordPress and website content management are all considered strong assets
  • Experience within the medical technology industry is an asset
